In this land
There were two clans it was said
One was blue from top to bottom
The other from bottom to top was red
Each look at the other
One brushing blue fur
The other combing red
Covered with fur they were
From their toes to their head
The Red
Wet the bed
You can’t believe a thing they said
They aren’t a bit right in the head
So said the Blue
And according to Red:
The Blue
Sniff the glue
Don’t have a clue
And their women are shrew
They’ve had disagreements
They’ve had fights
They’ve had wars
Over their color’s rights
At last, the leader of Red
Who was named Fred
Got together with Bobby-Sue
The head of Blue
They bickered and ranted
Then ate and decanted
Drinking a wicked brew of the North
Then things got hazy
Some say a little crazy
Between Red Fred and Bobby-Sue Blue
After that day
Things were strangely better
Blue and Red thought each other might be OK
They held festivals and ate dinner
Had contests where everyone was a winner
And everyone had to give a little
All got to have some of their way
Happiness came to Fred and Bobby-Sue too
They moved in together
And had a polka dotted daughter
Colored both red, and blue
Named Freddy-Sue
