Tap Freise

A doo-dah tap dance
An assault of soft shoe
Right upon the corpse of a horse
Turning it to a stinky sticky glue
Hardening oh so slowly
Making of me a reverse marionette
With the strings going down to the floor
Until they hold me fast
And I move no more
The clickety clack gone from everywhere
Sparks from steel tap toes frozen in the air
