Rain Sleet Not Quite Winter Or Springtime Pain

Fine
It wants to rain
So down the fine mist came
Mingling with the near freezing temperature
To become a slushy slippery substance on the sidewalk
The poor leavings after a snow cone has had the flavor juice sucked from it
Then dumped upon the ground
A half round scoop of meltingness
With a white dunce cap
Of not quite winter
Nor is it spring
Sitting in the corner
Trying to hide it's shame

Rain
Snow
See if I care
